We have only used this 3 times it seems to wash the clothes well. It did seem to get off the program twice which meant we had to unplug from the wall, wait a few minutes then plug in again and push the button for fill.

This machine has out performed my expectations. I usually discourage my husband from buying any appliances other than a Kenmore, but they are hard to find. This machine has been great !!! I highly recommend it.

The automatic locking lid is very frustrating. I understand that it is a safety feature, but as an adult I want to be able to access my laundry, when necessary, not when the machine deems it. Another issue I have is that the machine is always going off balance. It is not from overloading or that it is not sitting level. It just goes off balance and then I have to stop the wash, wait for it to unlock itself and then re-start it. Lastly, after only having this washer a little over 2 years, it is already making sounds similar to a freight train. Even though this is the lower end washer for Hotpoint, it was still several hundred dollars and should not present the consumer with multiple problems in such a short period of time.

Just got a few days again, and it makes an awful grinding noise that sounds like a dying duck. It only happens in the wash cycle and I™™ve determined it™™s something with the agitator. Was told by a technician that it™™s normal for this model, and that there wasn™™t really anything they could do about it. Wish I would have known that prior. Unsatisfied and disappointed.

I brought in 2023-10-1 by January I need help cause it was running terribly they came and fix it asap now it making some crazy noise and now march 25 I been use what they said the tide and cleaner tide it have made this noise before I figure cause family use some other stuff other than tide I hopeing it be fine. Who knows all I can say use what they say use and don™™t over fill you should be fine.

Seems to work ok. Washes clothes fairly well. Sometimes the rinse leaves residue. The tub doesn™™t fill up all the way like most washers do. Its highest level is 4 rows of drain holes from the top. Could be part of the occasional rinse issue. I wish I™™d have known.

I started leaking transmission fluid which drained into the reservoir causing other problems. It was shaking and knocking so bad it would jump around. Even the tub was damaged. I have since bought a new one. Repairs were too great. I should get a refund!!!!

This washer works very well as in it washes clothes great. The only issues is that there are a few problems I seem to keep having. The mode shifter has gone out multiple times, the transmission pulley & motor pulley have also had to be replaced multiple times due to them being ground down because they're made of plastic. Other than this I have no complaints because it has been a wonderful washer and washes my clothes very well.

I am not real happy with it. Since new it bangs and clangs intermittently in rinse mode and I cannot open the lid to redistribute the load. I tried to download the manual and it isn't there. The user manual qor only leads to more things to buy.

As a family of 4 having a washing machine is of upmost importance. I carefully selected this model because it was within my price range, and it describe all I was looking for in a washing machine. I haven't owned it for a year and it has broken down on me. First it seemed to have something to do with the magnetic sensor then it just stopped spinning and now I can't wash.

This top load washer did not last one year before it broke down,So with that I cannot recommend this to anyone, I could not get any help with customer service where I bought the washer at. So just got stuck with a broken washer- even with extended warranty!!

Excellent: A good size washer and good-looking washer and does a great job on all types of clothing. I did not expect such an efficient appliance as I received it through my home warranty program, I was expecting the cheapest and worse appliance they offer. This was the first picture on the list they sent, and it was free with my warranty contract. To my surprise it turned out to be a most efficient hard- working machine with everything and more that is required to launder clothing. This is not only a tribute to GE but also to the excellent warranty program I have.

I™™ve had my washer for two years now. From almost the beginning I have issues with the load becoming unbalanced during the cycle, causing it to shake violently until I pause the cycle and fix it. But, it does a good job other than that.
