This is a large capacity dryer, but you can't put too many heavy items.
For example, I can only put in about 4 towels at a time or they take forever to dry.

I purchased GE dryer from Home Depot in Elk Grove Village. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I received and figured out on same day that it™™s not working well, taking 4 hours to dry. I informed Home Depot within 24 hours of my purchase that dryer is not working well, and I asked Home Depot to take it back and give my money back. They blamed on GE and told me to reach out GE. I reached out GE and technician came and left with no feedback and without any clue. Now I am dead in the water with $600 junk that is taking 4 hours to dry one round of laundry. I DONT recommend buying any major appliance from Home Depot.

After more than 20 years of dependable service, our old dryer finally got so noisy from its drum rollers being worn out, and the fact that replacement parts for it were no longer available, we got a new one 2 months ago. What a relief. We had forgotten how quiet a dryer should be. This one reminded us of that.

No Dirty Clothes
3/1/2024
We bought the matching washer and dryer about a week ago. They both are excellent! The dryer is easy to operate, I love the location of the lint filter being by the door instead of on the top of the washer, and the dryer is fairly quiet while running. Clothes get nice and dry; we're still trying different settings and times to get them dry at the shortest time setting. Like other reviews I've read, the end of cycle buzzer is a little loud & long plus it seems to repeat a few times but I honestly don't mind it. I'm still giving it 5 stars!!!

This is third class product. I bought this dryer from Hime Depot & install it by on 2/15/2024. They tested it and it was working but next day I tried to use it but not working. The motor makes noice but drum doesn™™t move. Home Depot™™s technician tested the dryer and it was not working so took it back. I am still waiting for replacement of my dryer.

Simple to use. Dries clothes well. I has just enough functions, nothing else needed. Installing the LP conversion kit required going online for help, instructions that came with the kit didn't apply. Replaces a Roper that we purchased in 1991, hope this one lasts as long!

The good and the okay

I purchased in the past couple months as I needed a basic dryer that would only be used by 1-2 people and I honestly was getting tired of carrying wet clothes to the laundromat. I was able to get it in less than 2 weeks, even though I bought it "sight unseen" from the store. Now that I have used it, I find it to be adequate for what I need, though it does not get as warm as my previous dryer, which makes the drying cycle have to be set for a longer period of time. The lint catcher is kind of hit-or-miss as I often find lint balled up in the clothing and the lint screen is nearly empty. For the fact that I was able to get this quickly, installed, and that it does work, I am giving it 4 stars. If it could heat up more and be more effective with lint removal, it would definitely be 5 stars.
